Corporate Wellness Services

According to the Wellness Councils of America (welcoa.org), the return on investment is high for businesses who invest in employee well-being.  For every dollar spent on corporate wellness programs, such as on-site massage and yoga classes, businesses save around three dollars in health care expenses!

Additional benefits include increasing employee job satisfaction and morale, improving employee focus and productivity, building team camaraderie and effectiveness, and attracting and retaining talented employees.

While employee participation is highest when companies offer these services as a fully-funded part of an employee's benefits program, some companies support participation by paying for a portion of the service, thereby lowering the cost to the employee.

Investing in workplace well-being starts by implementing and promoting high-quality wellness programming, dedicating a space within the business, and providing access to employees during the work-week.  These steps go a long way toward reducing obstacles in making healthy lifestyle choices.

“I first met Nicole at an on-site massage at Johnson Controls. My first 30 minute midday table massage with her left me with an overwhelming sense of safety and calm. During my second 30 minute massage, I allowed myself a full 30 minutes to remember a particularly loved family member who had passed away a few years back. We chatted, I remembered, she found the knots in my shoulders. I felt cared for, refreshed, and healed. And then I booked a 90 minute table massage. And I talked to her the entire time. I still can’t believe I did that, but I realize now that Nicole encompasses the full title of ‘massage therapy’ - for any part of you that needs it.”

“As a Registered Nurse, and the Senior Process Leader overseeing an Employee Health Program in a large manufacturing plant, I have found that offering skilled on-site weekly massage therapy has greatly improved employee health, as well as being an important component of our positive workplace safety record. As massage therapists, both Lisa Mullaney and Sara Beard are professionals who relate well to staff at all levels of our organization. I would recommend them to similar industries seeking to address the wholistic health needs of their employees.”

“There are significant benefits to workplace massage for the employees and the firm. Staff are productively focused on their goals and massage can address other aspects of their wellness regimen enabling better throughput and stress management. An experienced therapist, like Nicole, adds additional suggestions regarding work style and posture. Her use of essential oils provides supplementary aids for refocusing and health. Initially, I was reluctant to try corporate massage but after experiencing the benefits, I strongly urged my staff to also partake, enabling a more resilient group with greater efficiency. Today’s staff are looking for corporate environments that address items beyond just the task at hand. Workplace massage sends a clear message that promotes the importance of the complete person.”
